Guest Bath Makeover

2:36 PM

I thought I would go ahead and call this makeover done(ish)and show the finished product.  While there is still work to be done, it's close to being done for now.  I have lighting that needs to be hung, and I plan to frame out the mirror, touch-ups...yada, yada, yada.  Come take a peek!

From plans...

Guest Bath Refresh

to execution!

It all started with this color, Sherwin Williams Pewter Green.  I tried a sample and it sparked an idea for this bathroom.

I think these shelves are one of my favorite things in this bath. They remind me of a cabinet of curiosities.  The print is from a girl's trip my sisters and I took to New York nearly fifteen years ago.  The feathers were dropped by a native hawk and found in the yard!  And the old book came from another girls trip where we thrifted our way through North Carolina.  I found it at a Goodwill that sold stuff by the pound!  The shelves are rounded out with bath and spa accessories like good smelling soaps, salts, and scents.

Aahh, contrast!  Loving how the doors stand out now, and tie in to the vanity.  I ended up going with a different shower curtain, because I didn't love the one on the board. But I saw Target has a new gold/white one with their new line Project 62 that may be perfect for the space.

Hope to share the completed final details soon!  Have you ever had to work around tile that you didn't like?  Share with me how you made it work!
